MARKLEY&BALMER "Standards&Covers" Lisa and I have been touring Dallas to Pittsburgh with this album and are happy to return to The Pines, hosts of our December 2018 CD release party.

This is one of the cooler Open Mikes around, Ras T's "Not Too Open Mike."  We will play Markley&Balmer sets interspersed with some of the fantastic local musicians of Woodstock, NY, taking the stage.  Much thanks to Ras T for hosting these happening events.

Lisa and I will be performing at the Library in Woodstock on January 19th, 7 PM. Standards & Covers & Originals which all have in common That the music was written first and the melodies after.  Harder to do and make it sound like it was written the other way around! See you there?!?
