We had Terrifically Dramatic and and Auspicious Elemental Circumstances for the “GET OUTTA PARK” CD Release Party at The Bath House Cultural Center on White Rock Lake in Dallas on Saturday night.  The Sky gave us Water In Abundance, the Lake held more still in Reserve, should we run out, and Jill Inforzato gave us Gluten-Free Pastries.  There was Coffee!  Quite a crowd were glad to have a roof over their heads while Bruce ran his entire album from “Get Outta Park,” the title track, to “Water Over the Dam” in the first set, then loosened up with some more familiar material, enlisting the sublime accompaniment of his wife, Lisa Markley, on some M&B favorites, “Don’t Make Me Do It,” “Mom and Dad’s Polka,” and a cover of Prof. Longhair’s “She Walk Right In,” with Bruce stepping carefully into piano-land on the House Upright Kawai.   The Close-Enough-For-Jazz-Full Moon managed to peek out later at the Classico-Tomato&Basil-Sauce-and-Spaghetti after party with volunteers Linda, Mark and Robert.  Thanks to you and all of the brave concert-goers for making it real, and to Woody on sound, Jill Inforzato, Theresa at Bath House Cultural Center, Marilyn, Bill, Graham and Kate at Soonasongs.com, and to the deep patience of Miz Markley, without whom What Would Be The Point?

More local performances to come!
